Now its just recorded videos with sound in the background.
They want less,, less,, less,, & less individuality all the time. Less authenticity,,, more uniformity.(ahem,, unity 😐)

I think around circa 2015-16,, costume dramas went bye bye....🏈
Kicked and gone.
Actually I,,, think all rehearsed or any on stage antics for that matter,,, around 2015. About then..

this information is supposed to be in the upcoming march wt.

(i don’t go on jw dot org).

it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

You know.
It would be very interesting to be a fly on the wall. Whether it be in the kitchens,, dining rooms or living rooms. Of some of the homes of old school,, die hard,, hardcore JWs.
Hearing conversations of all the changes over the last dozen years or so.
No more door 2 door. Just ticking a box.
Zoom meetings.
Dramatic reduction of printed material.
JW broadcasting. All those strange dudes & those facial contortions.
I dont know,, I cant think of them all right now...

Yes.
The door 2 door work is what really distinguished JWs.
Thats all but gone.
Hours quotas,,, gone. Just check a box.
Just check a box,,,, tell people you've at least talked to someone. Elders wont hassle you.
There's no reason to bother anyone,,, or bother going out & ruining your weekend.

It would be ironic.
It would be ironic,,,beyond ironic. If the Borgs demise was a byproduct of its own hardcore,,,controversial doctrines
If they would lighten up on such damaging policies. People questioning & second guessing......
Bring on tithing & bleed the $heeples more & more.
Go more mainstream. Causing a massive tide of doubters. Every notion of being "Gods exclusive" organization crumbling.
They would paint themselves into a corner further & further.

so i went to a christmas evening candlelight service tonight and it hit me.

i was primarily doing christmas since leaving the jw for the children.

lots of people do it for family without really thinking of the relevance.

In JWs Jesus is allllways downplayed. Or downgraded.
Maybe thats part of why the Borg abolishes Christmas.

The Borg cannot exist without,,, charity status.
Regards to the printing era,, it is dead. All but gone. The days of the preinternet heydey is finished. Its over.
It is,,,, about time,,,, the CRA pays attention to all of these abusive coercive groups like the Borg. The Borg relies on this charitable exemption for its own existence. But hardly does anything,,,, if anything charitable at all. Giving clothing to homeless. Feeding homeless. Shelters for homeless. You're right. Never.
No. They rely on government subsidies. Charitable status. But their actions hardly reflect what they receive.
